Apex seals are critical internal rotary-engine components positioned at the tips of each rotor, providing sealing between the rotor and rotor housing.

Apex seals should never be considered in isolation during an engine rebuild.
Rotor housings, side seals, corner seals, springs, rotor clearances, bearings and other internal components must be inspected and measured to determine their condition and suitability for reuse.
