The GReddy S-Type High Pressure Radiator Cap is a direct replacement performance radiator cap with an increased 1.3 kgf/cm² / 127 kPa opening pressure.
By increasing cooling-system pressure compared with a lower-pressure standard cap, the coolant boiling point is increased, helping provide additional protection against coolant boiling under demanding operating conditions.
An ideal upgrade for standard, tuned, turbocharged and track-driven RX-7 and RX-8 applications using a compatible S-Type radiator filler neck.

A higher-pressure radiator cap does not correct an overheating problem caused by a faulty cooling system.
The radiator, hoses, expansion tank, thermostat, water pump and other cooling-system components must be in good condition and capable of safely operating at the increased system pressure.
