The Y601-17-40YA is the original Mazda selector fork responsible for operating the 3rd and 4th gear synchronizer hub within the RX-8 6-speed manual gearbox.
A worn, bent or damaged selector fork can contribute to poor gear engagement, excessive selector movement or difficulty engaging 3rd and 4th gear.
Ideal for OEM transmission rebuilds and for use alongside new Genuine Mazda synchronizer and engagement components.
