Genuine Mazda 1st and 2nd gear shift selector fork for the Mazda RX-8 Series 1 6-speed manual transmission.
The Y601-17-40XB is the original Mazda selector fork used to operate the 1st and 2nd gear synchronizer assembly within the RX-8 6-speed manual gearbox.
A worn, bent or damaged selector fork can contribute to poor gear engagement, excessive selector movement or difficulty selecting 1st and 2nd gear.
Ideal for OEM transmission rebuilds and particularly useful when repairing an RX-8 gearbox suffering from 1st-to-2nd shift or synchronizer problems.
